NICs using the qlcnic driver module driver in RHEL 6.6 report an abnormally large number of transmitted packets
ifconfig counter of TX bytes shows much more traffic than has actually been transmitted
Transmit counter of QLogic qlcnic grows even when no traffic is being sent
