What is the difference between rebooting host using SSH and rebooting host using RHEVM?

Issue

  • Customer reboot the host RHEVH1 through RHEVM to test HA,and it will take few minutes for vms to reboot on host RHEVH2.

  • Customer reboot the host RHEVH1 through SSH tool to test HA, and it will take much more time for vms to reboot on host RHEVH2.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.6

  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3.4
