Issue

  • From group write permission is missing on directory with setgid bit set and umask(0002) in smb mount with vfs_glusterfs plugin ?
  • Issue with group permission on a volume exported by CIFS

  • In Bricks logs :

 E [marker.c:2336:marker_setattr_cbk] 0-volname-marker: Operation not permitted occurred during setattr of <nul>
 I [server-rpc-fops.c:1788:server_setattr_cbk] 0-volname-server: 102: SETATTR /testsmb (02707613-d401-4143-b74a-2d620a163931) ==> (Operation not permitted)
  • In Samba server logs:
W [client-rpc-fops.c:1983:client3_3_setattr_cbk] 0-volname-client-0: remote operation failed: Operation not permitted

 W [client-rpc-fops.c:1983:client3_3_setattr_cbk] 0-volname-client-1: remote operation failed: Operation not permitted
