Cannot configure JBossWS Runtimes using EAP 6 in JBDS 8

Issue

When trying to generate a JAX-WS client from a WSDL via

right-clicking the WSDL > Web Services > Generate Client

I am told that I must configure a JBossWS runtime. I then go to

JBDS/Eclipse Preferences > Web Services > JBossWS Preferences > Add

and point the "Home Folder" to the root folder of an EAP 6 installation. When I do this, the dialog never lets me finish and I get this error message at the top of the dialog:

Error occurred while loading JBossWS Command. Select the correct JBoss Server folder.
