/sbin/blockdev --rereadpt /dev/dm-20
BLKRRPART: Invalid argument

Device is an Mulitpath device on an EMC VMAX.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.6
  • Device mapper multipath
