Oracle Database 11g r2 64 bits installation asks for i386 packages in RHEL 6 64 bits. Is it correct?

Issue

  • When installing Oracle Database 11g r2 it asks for i386 packages even if my system is x86_64 as displayed bellow:
  • Do I have to install these packages in this architecture?
This is a prerequisite condition to test whether the package "libaio-0.3.105" is available on the system. (more details)
Expected value :libaio-0.3.105(i386)
Actual Value   :missing

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 x86_64
  • Oracle Database 11g r2 x86_64
