What do messages in the /var/log/messages file similar to "modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module block-major-## -or- modprobe: Can't locate module char-major-##" mean?

- Log files shows messages as below too many times :
modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module block-major-43"
