Why can't I install a RHEL 6 Xen guest VM in text only mode?
Issue
When trying to install a RHEL 6 Xen guest ona RHEL 5.7 host in text mode using the following command:
virt-install --nographics --name=lv047 --ram=2048 --vcpus=4 --check-cpu --network=bridge:virbr0 --disk path=/var/lib/libvirt/images/lv047.img,size=10 --arch=x86_64 --os-type=linux --hvm --location=/root/os -x "console=tty0 console=ttyS0,115200"
the console stops displaying any messages after creating the domain and connecting to it.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6 as guest
