Not able to SSH to NIS clients.
Issue
- Attempted to SSH a NIS client client and logins failed. As soon as the user stops using NIS on the client and copies over passwords and credentials, users are able to login without any issues.
- The error received is in the secure logs is:
unix_checkpwd could not obtain user info username
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
