In KSH shell getting File descriptor 11 error from lvm commands

Issue

  • In RHEL6 getting an leak error message while executing any LVM commands in the ksh shell which works fine in RHEL5.

  • On RHEL5

# ksh
# b=`lvs`
# echo $b
LV VG Attr LSize Origin Snap% Move Log Copy% Convert lv0 vg0 -wi-ao 336.00M
# 
  • On RHEL6

# ksh
# a=`lvs`
File descriptor 11 (/tmp/sf0c.m4a (deleted)) leaked on lvs invocation. Parent PID 2077: ksh
# echo $a
LV VG Attr LSize Origin Snap% Move Log Copy% Convert LogVol00 VolGroup -wi-ao 13.97g
# 

Environment
