What is valid node-indentifier value in JBoss EAP 6?

Issue

  • WARN [com.arjuna.ats.arjuna] ARJUNA012132: Supplied name of node contains reserved character -. Using Arjuna:xxxxxxxxxx
  • WARN [com.arjuna.ats.arjuna] ARJUNA012131: Supplied name of node is too long. Using Arjuna:xxxxxxxxxx

Resolution

The node-identifier value cannot contain dash character ('-') otherwise you get WARN message when it's actually used in runtime (not the boot time) and specified value will be ignored. Also the value length should be 28 characters or less.
