Why does Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Kickstart installation fail with message "no such option: --gid"?
Issue
- In the kickstart file, the following line is mentioned.
user --name=testuser --password=redhat --uid=1030 --gid=1030
- The installer complains about the same with the following error.
no such option: --gid
