How do I change the Xorg audit level in the gdm configuration?

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • gdm starts the Xorg server with an audit level 0:
[user@localhost ~]$ pgrep -lf Xorg
4699 /usr/bin/Xorg :0 -br -audit 0 -auth /var/gdm/:0.Xauth -nolisten tcp
  • How do I change that to level 4 (i.e., -audit 4)?

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
  • gdm-2.16.0-*
