dmidecode reports incorrect CPU family/status on the RHEL vm running on VMware host
Issue
- dmidecode reports incorrect CPU on the virtual RHEL servers running on VMware.
- dmidecode should display less number of processors.
- Why
/proc/cpuinfoshows the correct number of processors and dmidecode reports incorrect ouput ?

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux( All versions ).
- dmidecode
