Data in JBoss Cache is disappearing from the cache server before the configured TimeToLive elapses
Issue
- Data is evicted from JBoss Cache before the configured time
- Premature expiry of data from JBoss Cache
- We had deployed the new infrastructure with clustered cache support, but the data starts to evict from the cache mucher shorter then we expected.
The environment set up as following:
> 2 x (JBoss Server + JBoss Cache)
> 1 x Cache Server (connected via TCP cache loader) + SQL Server
The Cache deployed with JBoss is clustered (only cache, does not included JBoss itself). Both cache are connected to the remote Cache server to share information.
The issue is: we have about 2500 entries stays in the cache server, but after 12 hours, only 600 left. We are struggling to understand why they are disapppearing at moment.
Environment
- Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 5.1.0
- JBoss Cache 3.2.0 GA
- Using Hierarchial Caches TcpDelegatingCacheLoader and JDBCCacheLoader
