Is it possilbe to use F5 as the external load balancer for scaled application to achieve HA?

Issue

In the Deployment guide Section 7.9.5. Using an External Load Balancer for High-Availability Applications, It documents that F5 can be used to routing to scaled applications.
The sample is applicable only to Nginx. Please tell me the best practices recommend by Red Hat for configuring F5 for load balancer a scaled up application.
Is HAProxy Multiplier available when using F5 load balancer
