Issue

Why Hot adding of memory and CPU to RHEL 6.5 64-bit guest in VMware not getting detected.
Hot added 1 RAM and 1 vcpus to a RHEL 6.5 guest running in VMware environment but these changes are not seen in the VM, the free -m command still shows the memory as 6 GB and vcpus are shown as 5 in /proc/cpuinfo and grep line /sys/devices/system/memory/*/state shows all memory as online.
