After upgrading to RHEV-H 20140603.2.el6ev newly presented LUNs are not visible

Issue

After upgrading to the above hypervisor version newly presented LUNs are not being detected by any of the hypervisors. How can this be resolved in order to add more storage, besides rebooting affected hosts?
