Environment

  • Red Hat Satellite 5.6
  • Red Hat Storage 2.1

Issue

  • Red Hat Storage subscription does not provide rhn-tools-rhel-x86_64-server-6.4.z child channel via satellite-sync -l as described in the Red Hat Storage Installation guide
4.3. Installing from Red Hat Satellite Server. In the Child Channels tab of the Activation Keys screen, select the following child channels:

   RHEL EUS Server Scalable File System (v.6.4.z for x86_64)
   RHN Tools for RHEL EUS (v.6.4.z for 64-bit x86_64)
   Red Hat Storage Server 2.1 (RHEL 6.4.z for x86_64)

Resolution

  • This issue is now resolved, the RHN Tools for RHEL EUS (v.6.4.z for 64-bit x86_64) channel is now available under Red Hat Storage subscription.
