Issue

  • Error handling misfires: Couldn't store trigger
  • In server logs the following error occurs every four minutes:

    ERROR [org.quartz.impl.jdbcjobstore.JobStoreCMT] MisfireHandler: Error handling misfires: Couldn't store trigger 'AVAIL_DURATION_DOWN-10004' for 'org.rhq.enterprise.server.scheduler.jobs.AlertAvailabilityDurationJob' job:Job class must implement the Job interface.
    org.quartz.JobPersistenceException: Couldn't store trigger 'AVAIL_DURATION_DOWN-10004' for 'org.rhq.enterprise.server.scheduler.jobs.AlertAvailabilityDurationJob' job:Job class must implement the Job interface. Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (ON) 3.1.2, 3.2
    • For 3.1.2: JBoss ON Server Hotfix-05, Hotfix-06, Hotfix-07, Hotfix-08 has been applied
    • For 3.2: Server has been upgraded from JBoss ON 3.1.2 or earlier
  • One or more alert definitions which use a condition type of Availability Duration
  • An availability duration alert had been triggered but not yet expired at the time server was updated or upgraded
