No JMS consumer on local queue when using JBoss EAP 5 HornetQ in a cluster

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

We are trying to understand behavior we are seeing with a clustered jboss messaging queue in regards to where the messages are being queued and consumed.

We have a three node cluster with hosting a clustered queue. The message producers and consumers are deployed to all three nodes in the cluster and both use the JmsXA connection factory to produce and consume messages from the queue.

We are seeing all messages queuing on the cluster coordinator node. All consumers are then connecting to the cluster coordinator to consume the messages.

We would like for all messages to be placed on the queue on the in-memory on the host on which they are produced and then consumed on the same. We are unable to identify why all messages are going to one node and need help to ensure messages are being consumed on the same node they are being produced.
