What can I do if kickstart urls stop working after upgrading my RHN Satellite?

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

After upgrading Red Hat Network (RHN) Satellite, the url of kickstart files may stop working. In some situations the kickstart might still work with clients connecting directly to the RHN satellite, but fail through an RHN proxy with the same RHN satellite server as the upstream satellite.

Example from client:

# wget
http://testsat.test.org/kickstart/ks/org/1x4607c6cc8375c1304811e85431072422/label/test1
--14:17:00--
http://testsat.test.org/kickstart/ks/org/1x4607c6cc8375c1304811e85431072422/label/test1
          => `test1'
...
[ snip ]
...
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 500
14:17:00 ERROR 500: (no description).
