2 CPU's were provisioned for zVM's, but only one is visible on the OS

Issue

  • When 2 cpus were provisioned for one of the zVM's, only one is visible on the OS. Kernel could see both processors, but it stops the second one after getting the error cpuplugd: Can not open /proc/sys/vm/cmm_pages#012 The memory hotplug function will be disabled:
