How do I correct a bootstrap script in order to register systems to an Red Hat Satellite server, if it is failing with a script error?

System registration on satellite server via bootstrap script fails with following error
UPDATING RHN_REGISTER/UP2DATE CONFIGURATION FILES ------------------------------------------------- * downloading necessary files client_config_update.py... client-config-overrides.txt... ERROR: client_config_update.py was not downloaded

- wget-1.10 installed on client system
