Issue

  • Apache fail to start with the following messages:
Starting httpd: /usr/sbin/httpd.worker: error while loading shared libraries libpcre.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

OR

Starting httpd: /usr/sbin/httpd.worker: error while loading shared libraries: libaprutil-1.so.0: cannot open shared object file: Permission denied
  • Many of the shared libraries has wrong selinux context

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux
    • 5.x, 6.x, 7.x

    • 2.x, 3.x
