Performance in Fuse container 5- 20 times slower than outside container

Issue

We are validating files to ensure that they conform to industry standard encoding rules. The files we have to process vary in size from a few hundred bytes to about 450Mb. When testing our application we noticed that the time it takes to validate a 422Mb file inside the fuse container takes up to 20 times longer than validating outside the container.
