Is there a way to load rhq:input-property names and values from a property file in JON provisioning bundles?

Updated 2013-12-18T14:52:35+00:00

Issue

  • Is it possible to have a dynamic loading of rhq:input-property names and values using a file as parameter (a mechanism that mimics the Apache Ant )?

    For example, file.properties with:

    xxx=1234
    yyy=azerty

    and in the deploy.xml:

    ...
    <rhq:input-property file="file.properties"/>
    <rhq:input-property name="url" description="download URL of the template file" required="true" type="string"/>
    <rhq:input-property name="destination" description="destination file" required="true" type="string"/>
    ...

  • Can rhq:input-property names and values be provided via a property file?

  • Can I make the entry like version number and zip file name dynamic or read from a property file?

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (ON) 3.0,3.1.x
  • JBoss ON provisioning bundles
  • Template token substitution in one or more bundle files
