RHEL6.5: kernel with openafs module panics with RIP cache_alloc_refill called from getname, names_cache corrupted
Issue
- Repeated kernel panics after updating to RHEL6.5 kernel 2.6.32-431.el6 from RHEL6.4 kernel (2.6.32-358*.el6). Kernel contains openafs module.
- Kernel panics with
kernel BUG at mm/slab.c:3069!
similar to the following, indicatingnames_cache
is corrupted:
