Fail to deploy SHE via cockpit on iscsi array, if the host is configured with gluster

Issue

• Do we support a pure hyperconverged hosts and specifically hypervisors in RHV SHE deployments. Or we support hyperconverged hosts only under RHHI solutions?

• I have deployed Hyperconverged Gluster for RHEV - but I want to deploy my hosted engine to an ISCSI Lun.

  • When I got to deploy the Hosted Engine from Cockpit I can discover the ISCSI IQN - but the LUN's are not returned - Here is the error that I get:

    Failed to execute stage 'Environment customization': Unable to retrieve the list of LUN(s) please check the SELinux log and settings on your iscsi target
    Hosted Engine deployment failed
    

  • However - if I try to deploy the hosted engine to the ISCSI SAN and do not have Gluster deployed - the LUN's are returned correctly and the deployment is successful.
