Does Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 support stateful IPv6 Connection tracking?
Issue
- There is no support of IPv6 TCP connection tracking in the firewall. Therefore it is not possible connect two applications when one of them is uses ephemeral port.
- netfilter (iptables/ip6tables) does not include stateful connection tracking support for IPv6 in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.
ip6tables -A INPUT -m state --match RELATED,ESTABLISHED -j ACCEPTis not honored in RHEL5
