Issue

  • iSNS (Internet Storage Name Service) discovery through offload ifaces fails with iscsiadm.
  • iscsiadm discovery using iSNS failed to bind with offload ifaces.
    Here is the command:

    $ iscsiadm -m discovery -t isns -p 192.168.1.2 -I bnx2i.00:0e:1e:13:1d:f1
    Error Output:
    iscsiadm: iface bnx2i.00:0e:1e:13:1d:f1 is not valid. Will not bind node to it. Iface settings [hw=,ip=,net_if=,iscsi_if=bnx2i.00:0e:1e:13:1d:f1]
    iscsiadm: No portals found
