JBoss ON provisioning bundles summary page diplays error "more than one row returned by a subquery used as an expression" after creating new bundle version when an earlier bundle version had been deleted

Issue

  • Problem with bundle versions
  • Creation of new bundle version results in the following error message in the server log:

    ERROR: more than one row returned by a subquery used as an expression
    
  • The following error message is shown Failed to load bundle with the latest version data

  • Bundle is no longer visible on Bundles summary page after new versions of an existing bundle is created
  • Bundles screen loads with an “unknown” error
  • The user-interface (UI) for managing bundles appears with an “unknown” error
  • When accessing the bundles page the following error appears in the server log:

    WARN  [org.hibernate.util.JDBCExceptionReporter] SQL Error: 1427, SQLState: 21000
    ERROR [org.hibernate.util.JDBCExceptionReporter] ORA-01427: single-row subquery returns more than one row
    

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (ON) 3.0, 3.0.1, 3.1, 3.1.1, 3.1.2
  • At least 2 versions of a JBoss ON provisioning bundle created for a single bundle
  • A previous version of the JBoss ON provisioning bundle has been deleted
  • A new version of the existing JBoss ON provisioning bundle has been created resulting in a total of 3 or more bundle versions for a single bundle
  • Accessing the Bundles summary page (for example, http://localhost:7080/coregui/#Bundles)
