Resolution

  • The following controllers for the Fujitsu PRIMERGY range of servers have been tested during the hardware certification process, and are only supported for use with tape backup devices:

  • SAS Controller 3Gb 4 Ports Internal / 4 Ports External (LSI SAS3442E-R)

  • SAS Controller 6GB 8 Ports External PCIe Gen2 x8 (LSI SAS9200-8e)

  • SCSI Controller 320Mb 1 Port Internal / 1 Port External (Adaptec ASC-29320)

  • Connection of any other SCSI or SAS devices (ie, hard disk based storage) to these controllers is not supported by Red Hat or Fujitsu.
