Does the eServer xSeries 236 server need any extra options to install Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 General Release?

In order to complete a Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 General Release install, the kernel parameter acpi=noirq needs to be added to the boot line.

To do this when booting off the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 General Release install cdrom, enter linux acpi=noirq at the boot: prompt.
