How To Clone The GIT Branch (other than master) Into BRMS 6 ?

Issue

• we can clone a external GIT repository in the business-central console it always clones the "master" branch. we would like to be able to at least select a specific branch to clone.
• We are able to clone the GIT master branch into BRMS through the UI. But how do we clone any other branch (say, develop branch) in the same Repository?
  If the BRMS UI doesn't support this, is there any backend method to achieve this.
