Why application is throwing error while loading libraries "/sbin/ldconfig: File /path/to/library/lib/library_file1.so is empty, not checked"?

Issue

• Application seems to be running perfectly but suddenly started throwing error like.

 /sbin/ldconfig: File /path/to/library/lib/library_file1.so is empty, not checked.
 /sbin/ldconfig: File /path/to/library/lib/library_file2.so is not a symbolic link.

• Command is throwing error while loading library

cp -R /usr/open_bk/netbackup /usr/openv/
cp: error while loading shared libraries: /lib64/libacl.so.1: file too short

• During yum update one of my package show below messages.

ldconfig: File /lib/libgcc_s.so.2 is empty, not checked.
