How to restore lost or wiped mdadm metadata on a disk?
Issue
The mdadm metadata/signature appears to be lost or has been wiped from one or more disks, and the RAID array is no longer automatically assembled.
# mdadm --examine /dev/sdg
mdadm: No md superblock detected on /dev/sdg.
# mdadm --examine /dev/sdf
mdadm: No md superblock detected on /dev/sdf.

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6, running mdadm version 3.2 or later
