After leapp upgrade of RHEL on Satellite6, candlepin does not work

Issue

After LEAPP upgrade of RHEL7 to RHEL8 on Satellite 6.11, candlepin fails to start - see e.g. hammer ping failing.

Tomcat service is up and running, though.

  • Red Hat Satellite 6.11
    • upgrade of its RHEL7 to RHEL8
