Single Node OpenShift stuck with "Reboot took longer than expected"

Issue

Single Node OpenShift stuck with "Reboot took longer than expected".

Using the assisted-installer on cloud.redhat.com/openshift/assisted-installer to deploy an SNO cluster:

1) Created a SNO cluster
2) Did some customizations through the api (set ntp sources, http proxy and static NIC config) before running the installation.
3) Started installation

According to assisted-installer the installation hangs in step 7/10 "Rebooting" (This host failed its installation. Host failed to install because its installation stage Rebooting took longer than expected 1h10m0s.) but on the system the installation continues and finishes.

Environment

  • Single Node OpenShift (SNO) 4.8
