sfc driver drops multicast receive after update from RHEL 8.2 to 8.3
Issue
- NIC using Solarflare
sfcdriver drops multicast receive after update from RHEL 8.2 (kernel-4.18.0-193.el8) to 8.3 (kernel-4.18.0-240.el8). - Also notice that context switching has increased 6x (from 1500/sec to 9000/sec), sys CPU usage has grown, and
NET_RXsoftirq runs over 11k times per second.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.3 (
