What iptables rules need to be set to firewall my Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 cluster?

There are two possible rulesets for this purpose. The first one is to just accepting all the incoming traffic coming from each of the nodes of the cluster. If there are two nodes with the IPs 172.16.114.129 and 172.16.114.128, the /etc/sysconfig/iptables file may look like the following:
