Why Ansible Tower Stopped Working After Disabling IPV6 in the Server

Issue

After disabing IPV6 at operating system level and restarting the server, Tower nginx is not able to start. Checking nginx's error log we can see the following lines.

2020/09/24 10:26:49 [emerg] 1534#0: socket() [::]:443 failed (97: Address family not supported by protocol)
2020/09/24 12:28:45 [emerg] 32471#0: socket() [::]:443 failed (97: Address family not supported by protocol)
2020/09/24 12:29:32 [emerg] 32692#0: socket() [::]:443 failed (97: Address family not supported by protocol)
2020/09/24 14:57:17 [error] 6073#0: *187 upstream prematurely closed connection while reading response header from upstream, client: X.X.X.X, server: _, request: "GET /websocket/ HTTP/1.1", upstream: "http://unix:/var/run/tower/daphne.sock:/websocket/", host: "hostname.local"
