Poor performance of NFS compared to AIX
Issue
- Longer write and read time of NFS on RHEL when compared to AIX NFS client. In one such test environment reported in case - it took ~0.015s for each write operation in RHEL and ~0.009s in AIX
- The increased number of rpc calls and specifically the getattr calls noted in the packet capture of RHEL NFS Client were 2x higher than the AIX NFS Client.
