Node level resource changes are not updated in the node's YAML definition

Issue

After making changes to the node's hardware resources like memory or CPU, the OpenShift node's YAML definition is not getting updated with the correct configuration.
After adding extra CPUs to a node, the CPU count does not increase in the node's yaml definition
- spec.status.allocatable
- spec.status.capacity
