telnet session disconnected suddenly during yum command
Issue
- A telnet session was terminated unexpectedly while "yum -y update" command was running.
- yum command was updating xinetd package
- The system becomes unable to boot because of sudden termination of yum command.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
- telnet-server
- xinetd
- xinetd manages telnet sessions instead of systemd
