How to display over committed memory in OpenStack

Issue

  • The nova scheduler parameterram_allocation_ratio is set above 1.0 to over commit memory in overcloud compute node. However, memory display utilities, such as free, return only the total physical memory of the compute node, not the calculated over committed memory value.
  • Is there an OpenStack utility or command which will return the memory_mb_limit for a compute node?
