Issue

  • Cisco Nexus shutdown then cancel results in teaming disconnection for over 1 minute.
  • When the switch reboots then terminates the reboot and re-activates the network connection that was interrupted, the team module disconnects the link. This interruption lasts over a minute, after which the aggregator is completely restored.
  • The old bonding module does not generate disruptions.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
    • kernel-3.10.0-1062.4.2.el7.x86_64
    • NetworkManager-1.18.0-5.el7_7.1
    • libteam-1.27-9.el7.x86_64
  • teaming in lacp mode (802.3ad)
  • Cisco Nexus 93180y with NXOS 7.0.3.i4.7 configured in VPC (Virtual Port Channel)
