Why does rgmanager stop all configured resources when the daemon is starting on a RHEL cluster node?

Issue

  • Why does rgmanager stop all configured resources when it is starting?
  • Why do I see rgmanager reporting that it is "Initializing Services" and then stop all of my resources?
Apr  4 16:18:12 node1 rgmanager[16554]: Initializing Services
Apr  4 16:18:12 node1 rgmanager[21189]: [script] Executing /data/scripts/myScript.sh
  • The service rgmanager stops all the resources when rgmanager starts.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 5 with the High Availability Add On
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 6 with the High Availability Add On
  • Red Hat Cluster Suite 4
  • rgmanager
  • One or more configured services in /etc/cluster/cluster.conf
