Logs are spammed with SELinux is preventing /usr/libexec/platform-python3.6 from read access on file

Issue

  • /var/log/messages is spammed every 4 hours with the following message:

    # <date> <time> hostname setroubleshoot[10900]: SELinux is preventing /usr/libexec/platform-python3.6 from read access on the file <placeholder>. For complete SELinux messages run: sealert -l <uuid>

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8.1
  • SELinux enabled
