RHEL8: DFS provided SMB shares are not accessible
Issue
- SMB clients can not access a Samba SMB target in a DFS namespace.
- Unable to follow kerberized SMB3 DFS paths in 8.1.
- The SMB target can be accessed in RHEL 8.0.
- The shares are directly accessible in RHEL 8.1 if DFS is not used.
